MARCIN KOSMOWSKI

Marcin Kosmowski born in 1977 in the city of Bielsko-Biała in the south west of Poland. Now since many years back living in Stockholm, Sweden.
His genuine interest in photography derived from his parent´s huge archive of old family photos, which he would pore over with great fascination as a child. At twelve years of age Marcin´s father gave him his first camera, a Zenit, which he still owns today. His first pictures were mostly documentary, but thru time he grew a fascination in fashion photography and the freedom to create his own fictional stories with his pictures, where his inner motivation is to, every time, tell a different story using the same elements, light, a model and a location.

In 2004 after several years of traveling the world assisting fashion photographers he started his own career. Inspired by music, cinema, art and his own Polish heritage, a kind of Eastern European realism he travels round the world working with a variety of clients.
