PETER AUGUSTIN

Creating images since 1995, Paris based photographer Peter Augustin has worked with international figures and celebrities, concentrating on lifestyle rich, spontaneous, and un-posed pictures. His work is influenced not only by the subjects that he captures, but by the power of nature and color. Currently splitting his time between Paris and London, he has lived in and traveled to places such as Tokyo, New York  and L.A. His most recent project has taken him to several major cities, where he is documenting Stand up Paddle surfer "Mickey Eskimo" in an effort raise awareness about global water conditions. Professionally, Peter has been concentrating on commercial photography- particularly the beauty/portrait market. He has worked with top publications such as GQ, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Vogue, paired with companies like Clarins, Wella, Timotei, Panteene and L'Oreal. When not behind the lens, you can find him with his family wind and kite surfing in Hawaii, which he deems one of his most inspirational locations.
